When we were asked to do the audio installation for Varuna, a unique underwater journey at Indonesia's first aquatic theater dining spectacle in Bali, we were presented with a number of challenges that were resolved through carefully hanging speakers in a multichannel/surround configuration throughout the venue.

After Sontastic presented the client with various options, it was decided to use Outline Vegas coaxial speakers, an affordable, high performance, point source solution that transforms well in the venue. Multiple custom hangs and brackets ensure that the speakers are in the right positions in the fairly wide and shallow venue. To complement the Outline speakers we use Powersoft and our own SONiX amplifiers deliver the required power and sound quality, while the two classic Meyer double 18" subs make sure there's enough bass to complete the powerful cinematic sound experience.
